you haven't made a dollar yet.good. come make one.

Pre-Revenue House is a launch house in Costa Mesa for people with an idea and $0 in revenue. Two weeks, one idea, real customers. Then you show everyone at Demo Night.

01 / what it is

a garage with a deadline.

It's a warehouse in westside Costa Mesa full of desks, whiteboards and people trying to get their first customer. You don't need funding, a cofounder or a CS degree. You need an idea and two weeks of actually working on it.

Most ideas die in the notes app. This is where they go to find out if they're real.

02 / the launch sprint

two weeks. one idea. ship it.

10–12 builders per sprint. Built around a day job: evenings and weekends work, and the space is open 24/7.

week 1

pick it. check it. build it.

  1. pick one idea (just one)
  2. validate it before you fall in love with it
  3. 20 customer conversations
  4. build the mvp, the ugly version
week 2

ship it. price it. get users.

  1. ship it live
  2. put a real price on it
  3. get actual users
  4. try to make dollar #1

04 / the space

a warehouse, not a wework.

Westside Costa Mesa, between the surf shops and the machine shops. Roll the door up, write on every wall, stay late.

05 / who it's for

you, probably.

the 9-to-5er

you have a job and an idea.

The idea keeps showing up in the shower. The sprint fits around work: nights, weekends, and a desk that's open at 2am.

students + new grads

uci, chapman, occ.

Best time to try is before rent gets serious. Student pricing on everything, and nobody here cares about your GPA.

solo founders

you're at $0 and alone.

Working by yourself is how ideas stall. Here you get eleven people next to you trying to get to dollar #1 too.

not for funded scale-ups looking for cheap desks. You're doing great. This isn't for you.
06 / demo night

every sprint ends on a stage.

Open to the public. Each builder gets a few minutes: what they built, what customers said, what they charged and whether anyone paid. Bring friends. Bring your skeptical uncle.

07 / faq

fair questions.

can i live there?

No, not yet. It's a launch house, not a hacker house. You can stay late. You can't move in.

do i need a cofounder?

No. Come solo. If you meet one here, great. If not, also great.

do i need to know how to code?

No. Plenty of first products are a landing page, a spreadsheet and a payment link. We care whether someone pays, not what it's built with.

what if my idea is bad?

You'll find out fast. That's the point. Two weeks to learn it's bad beats two years. Plenty of people switch ideas in week one.

i have a job. can i still do it?

Yes. The sprint is built for evenings and weekends, and the space is open 24/7.

when is sprint #1?

Soon. Apply or join the waitlist and you'll hear first.

08 / apply

ok. what are you building?

One form for the sprint, a membership, or just the waitlist. Takes two minutes. A one-line idea is fine.

nice. you're on the list.

Honest disclaimer: this is a preview, so nothing was sent anywhere. The real form goes live with sprint #1.
